Mahon Curado DOP is a semi-firm, pasteurized, cow’s milk cheese from Spain. Mahon is named after the port of Mahon on the Menorca Island of Spain. This cheese is left to mature for between 180 and 240 days in order to acquire an intensely aromatic flavour with hints of leather and aged wood. Its taste is buttery, sharp, and salty. Mahon Curado is semi-firm and has a consistent texture that is slightly granulated when cut. It has a yellow color with an orange rind. Cut cheese, up to 7 lb.
