In 2003, we began importing broodstock of Beluga and other sturgeons from areas surrounding the Caspian Sea. After the 2005 ban on the commercial trade of Beluga caviar, SAF remained in legal possession of these marvelous fish. Since then, we've raised and bred them while working alongside scientists and governments to help restore their natural populations. With our federal exemption from the ban, we now proudly offer the only purebred American Beluga caviar with the grandeur this delicacy deserves.
