This is “Small Bites,” a South Florida Sun Sentinel feature with tiny tidbits on the food and beverage scene — because we know that sometimes you just don’t have room for a long article. You want a little news brief instead, an amuse bouche of information, if you will. Enjoy!

WHAT:

When watching Bravo-TV’s “Top Chef: World All-Stars” (set mostly in London with a finale planned for Paris), do you ever wish there was some way to try a participant’s dishes?

Well, your culinary dreams are about to be answered.

Foodie fans of chef Buddha Lo, who is the reigning "Top Chef" winner, will be thrilled to know the kitchen king is bringing an exclusive dinner experience this month to Hollywood’s Marky’s Caviar Lounge, where he is the executive chef.

And as if that weren’t enough, he’ll be collaborating with chef Charbel Hayek, winner of season 5 of “Top Chef Middle East & North Africa.” (Hayek also competed on “Top Chef: World All-Stars” with Lo.)

No specifics yet, so all we know is the dynamic duo will mash up their culinary styles for two nights only, with a six-course tasting menu spotlighting truffles, foie gras, caviar and Wagyu.

Chef Lo formerly worked at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in London as well as Eleven Madison Park in Manhattan. In addition to Marky’s here in SoFlo and NYC (currently closed for remodeling after a fire), he is also executive chef at Huso New York.
