Whole Foods, Markys team up on caviar classes

South Florida Whole Foods Markets are collaborating with Markys Caviar of Miami on a series of two-hour classes showcasing farm-raised caviars and benefiting Mote Marine, a nonprofit aquafarm in Sarasota.

Featured fish eggs include those from Mote and Sturgeon Aquafarms, a Florida Panhandle facility owned by Markys thats dedicated to extracting and repopulating Caspian Sea beluga, osetra and sevruga sturgeon for U.S. farming.

Cost is $5, and registration is required. Heres the class schedule:.
