Whole King Crab description:
Whole King Crab - wild, 6.6 lb / 3 kg
The red king crab (Paralithodes camtschaticus), also called Kamchatka crab or Alaskan king crab, is a species of king crab native to the far northern Pacific Ocean, including the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska.
Their rich, succulent, and flavorful meat makes these crabs the most sought-after in the world. Pre-cooked by being freshly boiled on the same vessel it was caught on, this crab comes ready to eat. It's best served after steaming or boiling for several minutes. Or, if it's too large to fit in a steamer or pot, heat it in the oven at 350 ° F for 15 minutes. Serve on it's own, or with butter as an ideal condiment. It makes the perfect appetizer for a group of 8-10 people, or, the perfect dinner for a group of 4.
