Black Sushi Caviar description:
Black Sushi Caviar - Masago Black is harvested from the small fish Capelin in the cold sea waters of Iceland. This roe is basically used mostly in Japanese cuisine as an ingredient and decoration for different kinds of sushi and rolls.
The small, firm and crunchy beads originally have an amber color and to obtain the black Tobico we use natural squid ink that makes the beads look nearly like the noble black caviar. These chewy grains have delicate salty flavor and are ideal to be added to either traditional Japanese delicacies or to any other dish to give a fresh sea flavor and crunchy texture. Try also other types of Capelin caviar or black tobiko (flying fish roe)
IMPORTANT: Keep Frozen at or below -18℃, keep frozen until used, thaw under refrigeration immediately before use
