These are Spain's most unique almonds. Spanish Marconas are flatter and rounder than traditional almonds. These heart-shaped almonds are notorious for their golden color and sweet and delicate taste. Grown in the Valencia region of Spain, where they're called "the queen of almonds," they have a notable soft crunch and rich flavor that makes them stand out from typical, supermarket almonds. These Spanish almonds are lightly fried in oil and salted, resulting in a rich, slightly salty and nutty taste. As such, they can be eaten on their own. Or, do as the Spaniards do and use them to make marzipan, sprinkle them over salads, or serve on a charcuterie board. Store in a cool dry place & avoid direct sunlight
