Marky's
Caviar - International Food Emporium (Optimus, Inc.) was established
in 1985, in Miami, Florida. Today, in the 21st century, we import
and export more than 600 varieties of gourmet foods including Smoked
Salmon, Escargots, Truffles, Saffron, Dry Peppercorns, and Wild Mushrooms.
Our specialties are, however, delicacy - top quality Caviar and
French Foie Gras. Geography of our business includes Russia, France,
Spain, Canada, Italy, Uruguay, Latin America...
Marketed
under the name of Marky's Caviar, our company is able to provide
volume quantities of this excellent Black Sea & Caspian Sturgeon
Caviar. The best Marky's Beluga 000, Osetra Imperial Golden
and Classic Grey Sevruga caviar have become synonymous with
delightful taste, high quality and freshness for caviar connoisseurs.
Our caviar
has received several awards for its superior quality and consistency,
and has been exhibited at numerous International Trade shows. Many
of the finest caviar epicureans in the
USA have preferred gift baskets with the brand name
Marky's Caviar when compared to Dean & DeLuca,
Paramount Caviar, Tsar Nicoulai Caviar, Caviarteria, Caviar Russe,
Caviaretc or 800-CAVIAR.
We are
long-time partners with our main seafood supplier, one of the largest
Russian fisheries in Astrakhan City in the Volga River delta.

Together,
we follow every step in the selection of the best black caviar,
from the Caspian Sea sources to its final destination. The correct
temperature is monitored from the factory to the consumer.
We offer
to our online customers finest caviar that has been obtained in a legal
and ecologically sound way. Our caviar is preserved exclusively
with pure salt, stored, handled and transported according to stringent
hygenic regulations. It meets all international and domestic requirements,
including regulations by CITES, US Fish and Wildlife Service, FDA,
etc.
Marky's
Caviar is HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) - certified.
When each shipment is
received, a sample is immediately sent to a lab for testing and
inspection.

Our partnership
in Russia enables us to control caviar processing and quality with
the help of our experts who travel to the fisheries several times
a year.
Marky's
Caviar is the first company to require DNA
batch tests for each species of black caviar. This analysis of the
sturgeon roe enables us to ensure the origin and quality of caviar
to our customers. We guarantee that our caviar is a healthy, prestigious
and high-quality product.
We are
also the largest importer into the United States of French Foie
Gras from the two major producers of the finest Foie Gras in the
Perigord area (France) - Rougie and Bizac.
We stock all of the Goose and Duck liver products they manufacture.
We are
developing new directions in our business. The most important of
them is our participation in the restoration of the world's resources
of sturgeon. With our partner - Sturgeon
AquaFarms, LLC - we are starting an aquaculture operation in
Florida, USA that will farm various sturgeon species for commercial
production of sturgeon meat and domestic caviar.
