Marky’s is first importer of kosher
foie gras

MIAMI
- The U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved the first kosher
foie gras for import by Marky’s
Caviar here.
Marky’s Caviar is the exclusive importer in the United States
of kosher foie gras by French Delice. The kosher foie gras is
manufactured according to traditional Southwest French recipes
under the supervision of the Kashruth Division of the Orthodox
Union, and bears the Glatt Kosher label.
The ready-to-serve foie gras is packaged in 5-ounce, 7-ounce and
14.1-ounce blocks and requires refrigeration. Marky’s mails orders
overnight directly to retailers via FedEx.
Retailers carrying the product include New York’s Fairway Market,
Gourmet Garage, Dean & DeLuca, Garden of Eden, Eli’s Manhattan,
Amish Markets as well as Wegmans Market locations throughout New
York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Marky’s Caviar imports and exports more than 600 varieties of
gourmet foods, ranging from truffles, saffron and dried peppercorns
to smoked salmon, Russian caviar and French foie gras. |
